Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable / Senior Finance Analyst (OTC) to manage commission receivables, reconciliation, posting, and collection-related activities within the insurance domain. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in insurance brokerage, P&C; insurance, or financial services, along with strong accounting and reconciliation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile commission receivables received from insurance companies.
- Follow up with insurance companies to ensure timely collection of outstanding commissions.
- Ensure accurate and timely receipt, posting, and reconciliation of direct bill commissions on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Process corrections and changes to broker commission rates as required.
- Track and maintain direct bill commission information, including carrier name, check receipt date, commission amount, processing date, and completion status.
- Ensure all corrections, changes, and updates are properly documented.
- Maintain accuracy in accounting records and reconciliation activities.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external insurance companies to resolve discrepancies.
Requirements
- Graduate with 4–6 years of relevant billing, accounting, or Accounts Receivable experience .
- Experience in the insurance brokerage industry or P&C; insurance is preferred.
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is preferred.
- Working knowledge of insurance agency management systems (AMS), such as BenefitPoint and Applied EPIC , is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with the EPIC application is preferred.
- Solid understanding of reconciliation, commission processing, billing, and receivables.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong team collaboration skills.
- Good documentation and knowledge-sharing abilities.
