We are looking for an experienced Jira & Confluence Migration Expert with robust administration and migration expertise across Atlassian platforms. The candidate will be responsible for planning and executing Jira Data Center-to-Data Center/Server migrations and Confluence Cloud-to-Data Center migrations. The role involves environment assessment, migration strategy, configuration, data and user migration, integration management, validation, and post-migration support.Responsibilities :- Assess existing Jira and Confluence environments, identify migration dependencies, and define migration strategies.- Execute Jira Data Center-to-Data Center/Server migrations, including configuration of target environments and migration of projects, users, and configurations.- Manage Jira workflows, schemes, permissions, backup/restore activities, and migration tools.- Execute Confluence Cloud-to-Data Center migrations, including migration of spaces, pages, attachments, users, and permissions.- Work with Confluence migration tools such as CCMA and XML export/import.- Manage user migration and directory integrations, including LDAP/Active Directory and SSO.- Reconfigure and validate integrations with CI/CD tools, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, and other applications.- Assess and validate plugins/apps, manage app migration, and address compatibility issues.- Support UAT,



troubleshoot migration issues, coordinate go-live activities, and provide post-migration support.- Maintain migration documentation and ensure successful handover.Requirements :- 6+ years of overall experience, including at least 5 years of relevant experience in Jira and Confluence administration and migration.- Strong hands-on experience in Jira Data Center administration and Jira DC-to-DC/Server migration.- Experience with Confluence Cloud and Data Center administration, particularly Cloud-to-Data Center migration.- Strong understanding of Jira workflows, schemes, permissions, projects, and user management.- Experience with Confluence spaces, page hierarchies, attachments, permissions, and user administration.- Hands-on experience with migration tools such as CCMA, XML export/import, and Jira backup/restore utilities.- Understanding of integrations, plugins/apps, LDAP/AD, SSO, CI/CD, and Bitbucket.- Familiarity with Windows/Linux infrastructure.- Knowledge of Groovy/Python scripting, APIs, and AWS/Azure infrastructure is preferred.- Atlassian certifications and Atlassian Cloud migration exposure are an added advantage.- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
