Job Title: Senior AWS Managed Apache Flink Streaming Developer (Java/Python)

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Streaming Developer with deep expertise in Apache Flink on AWS. The candidate will design, develop, deploy, and operate robust, large-scale real-time streaming applications using AWS Managed Service for Apache Flink (MSF).

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain streaming applications leveraging Apache Flink DataStream API, Table API, and SQL API.
- Implement stateful stream processing, event-time processing, checkpointing, and fault-tolerance mechanisms for large-scale data streams.
- Design scalable and robust real-time streaming architectures on AWS MSF.
- Tune and optimize streaming jobs for low-latency and high-throughput performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other engineering teams to integrate streaming data pipelines with distributed systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during development and production.
- Ensure best practices for streaming application development, operations, and monitoring.

Required Skills and Experience:
- 7+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on streaming data systems.
- Robust expertise in Apache Flink, including hands-on experience with AWS Managed Service for Apache Flink.
- Proficiency in Java and Python programming.
- In-depth knowledge of Flink's DataStream API, Table API, SQL API, and concepts such as stateful processing, event-time semantics, checkpointing, and fault tolerance.
- Experience with building and operating distributed systems and real-time data pipelines on AWS.




- Familiarity with performance optimization and monitoring of streaming applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AWS ecosystem tools (Kinesis, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, Lambda).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of data serialization formats (Avro, Parquet).
