Job Role: COE Specialist - Instructional Design & Learning Excellence

Job Location: Hyderabad (On-site)

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Instructional Design skilled to lead the learning design function within SmartWinnr's Centre of Excellence (Training). This role will be responsible for designing scalable learning experiences, certification programs, assessments, proficiency frameworks, and training methodologies that support employees, customers, and partners.

The COE Lead will work closely with Product, Customer Success, Support, Implementation, and Leadership teams to transform product knowledge into structured learning journeys. They will also mentor and guide a team of Training Associates and interns responsible for creating training content and learning assets.

Key Responsibilities

- Define the instructional design strategy for SmartWinnr University and all training initiatives.
- Design end-to-end learning journeys, certification programs, onboarding curricula, and role-based learning paths.
- Develop assessment frameworks, proficiency models, knowledge checks, and certification standards.
- Establish instructional design standards, templates, and content governance processes.
- Convert complex product concepts into engaging learning experiences across multiple formats including e-learning, guides, videos, workshops,



and assessments.
- Create a robust review and content validation framework to ensure training accuracy and consistency.
- Partner with Product, Support, Customer Success, and Implementation teams to gather product knowledge and best practices.
- Lead and mentor a team of Training Associates, interns, and content creators.
- Evaluate learning effectiveness through learner feedback, assessment performance, and business outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement of training content and learning experiences.

Required Qualifications

- 1-4 years of experience in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Training, or Learning Experience Design.
- Proven experience designing structured learning programs, certifications, and assessments.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Experience creating competency frameworks and role-based learning paths.
- Excellent stakeholder management and project management capabilities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience in SaaS, technology, sales enablement, customer education, or product training environments.
- Experience building customer-facing certification programs.
- Exposure to instructional design models such as ADDIE, SAM, Bloom's Taxonomy, Kirkpatrick Evaluation Model, etc.
- Familiarity with AI-powered learning tools and modern learning technologies.
- Experience managing small teams or mentoring content creators.
