Blessing Softtech (Fonazo) is hiring a Compliance Engineer to own and develop the Global Compliance Engine that ensures AI voice agents operate lawfully across different countries.

Fonazo is an AI Voice Agent Builder that enables businesses to launch multilingual voice agents in minutes. Every call passes through compliance controls enforced directly within the product.

The platform currently operates in five countries, with expansion planned into the UAE, Spain, and Italy.

We are looking for an experienced Compliance Engineer who can translate regulatory requirements into automated product controls, testing frameworks, and auditable compliance systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the Global Compliance Engine rules, including consent capture, calling windows, do-not-call registers, caller identification, AI disclosure, recording consent, and call frequency limits.
- Lead compliance implementation for current country launches.
- Translate regulatory requirements into product specifications, automated controls, and test cases.
- Implement Compliance as Code with versioned, tested, and deployable regulatory rules.
- Manage data protection engineering under DPDP, GDPR, and UK GDPR.
- Handle data mapping, retention, deletion, data subject requests, and cross border transfer controls.
- Support SOC 2 and ISO 27001 audit readiness, evidence automation, and auditor management.
- Maintain tamper-evident audit trails for every call.
- Support enterprise security and compliance questionnaires, data processing agreements, and regulatory documentation.
- Monitor regulatory changes across existing and planned markets.
- Manage telecom registration workflows with operators and aggregators.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- 4+ years of experience in compliance engineering, GRC engineering,



or regulated product engineering.
- Working knowledge of telemarketing and electronic communications regulations in at least two of India, the US, the UK, and the EU.
- Practical experience with GDPR or DPDP data protection requirements.
- Experience with records of processing, impact assessments, and data deletion pipelines.
- Experience managing independent security or privacy audits from readiness through final reporting.
- Ability to translate regulatory requirements into technical product requirements and automated test cases.
- Experience with policy automation, scripting, data queries, and control monitoring.
- Excellent technical documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of AI governance frameworks such as EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and ISO 42001.
- Background in telecommunications, fintech, healthtech, or contact centre technology.

What Success Looks Like

- First 30 days: Complete a control inventory for all five live countries and identify compliance gaps.
- First 90 days: Implement automated test coverage for live controls and establish a standard enterprise compliance pack.
- First 180 days: Launch one new country and initiate an independent audit programme.
- First 12 months: Establish a repeatable country-launch process.
