Company Description Farzeen Couture Workshop is the production and craftsmanship division of Farzeen Couture, a Mumbai-based custom clothing brand established in 2009. The workshop specializes in custom garment development, bridal and occasion wear, traditional Indian hand embroidery, and small-batch made-to-order production. It collaborates with international and local fashion designers, boutiques, bridal labels, and emerging fashion brands that seek skilled craftsmanship and reliable production support in India.

The team focuses on translating approved designs into carefully crafted garments with strong attention to fabric, fit, embroidery, and finishing. Based in Mumbai, Farzeen Couture Workshop works with clients across global markets, including the USA, UAE, UK, Canada, and Australia.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Machine Embroidery role based at Farzeen Couture Workshop in Mumbai. The role involves operating computerized embroidery machines to produce high-quality designs on a variety of fabrics and garments, including bridal and occasion wear.

Responsibilities include reading and understanding design files and patterns, setting up machines with correct threads, needles, and frames, and performing test runs to ensure accuracy and consistency. The professional will monitor production runs, identify and correct defects, maintain machines through routine cleaning and minor adjustments, and coordinate closely with pattern cutters, hand embroiderers,



and tailors to achieve the desired final look. The role also includes organizing work orders, following production timelines, and maintaining a clean, safe workstation in alignment with workshop standards.

Qualifications

- Ability to operate computerized embroidery machines, including setting up threads, needles, hoops, and fabric alignment.
- Experience reading design files, patterns, and embroidery layouts, with attention to detail in placement and color matching.
- Skills in basic machine maintenance, troubleshooting minor technical issues, and ensuring smooth daily operation.
- Understanding of different fabrics (silk, net, satin, brocade, etc.) and how embroidery tension and techniques vary across materials.
- Experience in couture, bridal, occasion wear, or traditional Indian embroidery production is highly beneficial.
- Strong focus on quality control, with the ability to inspect work, identify defects, and make corrections promptly.
- Good communication and collaboration skills to work with designers, pattern cutters, and production coordinators.
- Ability to follow production schedules, manage multiple orders, and work efficiently in a workshop environment.
- Prior workshop or factory experience in garment or embroidery production preferred; vocational training in embroidery or garment manufacturing is an advantage.
- Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and qualified conduct in an on-site production setting in Mumbai.
