Deputy Manager Projects Execution (South Region) – Retail Fit-Out Projects

Job Purpose

To coordinate and monitor store fit-out projects from site initiation through completion and handover. The role will ensure smooth execution of fit-out activities by coordinating with internal/External teams, contractors, vendors, consultants, and site teams while maintaining project timelines, quality, safety, and cost requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate day-to-day execution of retail store fit-out projects.
- Monitor project progress against approved drawings, schedules, and project timelines.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants, architects, and internal stakeholders for timely execution.
- Track project milestones, identify delays or site issues, and coordinate corrective actions.
- Review site requirements and ensure availability of materials, manpower, and resources as per project schedule.
- Coordinate with procurement and vendors for material delivery and installation.
- Maintain daily/weekly project progress reports and highlight key risks and issues to management.
- Coordinate snag identification, rectification, testing, commissioning, and final handover of stores.
- Ensure proper documentation of drawings, approvals, site instructions, checklists, and handover documents.




- Coordinate with operations/store teams during project completion and handover.
- Support multiple retail fit-out projects simultaneously, depending on business requirements.

Required Experience & Skills

- 5–8 years of experience in retail fit-out, interior projects, commercial projects, or construction project coordination.
- Experience in retail store fit-outs will be preferred.
- Good understanding of civil, interior, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, signage, and finishing works.
- Robust contractor and vendor coordination skills.
- Ability to read and understand architectural/interior drawings and BOQs.
- Good project planning, coordination, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel/visit project sites as required.

Education

Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering/Electrical Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
