Role Description The Pediatrician will provide comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents in an on-site setting at Rising Hospital Pune in the Pune Division. This full-time role involves conducting routine check-ups, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic illnesses, monitoring growth and development, and administering vaccinations. The Pediatrician will counsel patients and caregivers on preventive care, nutrition, and overall child wellness, while maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols. The role includes close collaboration with other physicians, nurses,



and allied health professionals, participation in case discussions, and contribution to quality improvement initiatives within the hospital.
Qualifications
Solid clinical foundation in Medicine and Primary Care to manage a broad range of pediatric health needs.
Demonstrated expertise in Pediatrics, including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care for infants, children, and adolescents.
Experience or training in Neonatology for the assessment and management of newborns and high-risk infants.
Ability to work effectively with Physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams in a cooperative, respectful manner.
Recognized medical degree (MBBS) and completed pediatric residency or equivalent postgraduate qualification; valid medical license as per local regulations.
Strong communication skills for interacting with children and caregivers, with explicit, empathetic counseling and education.
Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, evidence-based medicine, and continuous career development.
Willingness to work on-site in Pune Division with flexibility for hospital schedules and emergency coverage as needed.
