Job Description Purchase Executive (MEP Company)

Job Title: Purchase Executive Department: Purchase & Procurement Industry: MEP – Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Fire Fighting & Plumbing

Key Responsibilities:
Procure electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting materials as per project requirements.
Obtain and compare quotations from vendors to ensure competitive pricing.
Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery.
Coordinate with project, site, accounts, and stores teams.
Follow up on material dispatch, delivery, invoices, and pending orders.
Develop and maintain vendor relationships and records.
Ensure materials meet approved specifications and quality standards.

Required Skills:
Knowledge of MEP materials and procurement processes.
Valuable negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
Basic knowledge of Excel, ERP software, and purchase documentation.

Qualification: Graduate in any discipline, preferably with experience in MEP procurement.

Experience: 1–3 years in purchase/procurement, preferably in the MEP industry.
