Job Description Intern, CNC Milling Operator (Fresher)

Role Purpose
Gain practical experience in CNC milling operations for aerospace components under the supervision of trained operators and engineers.

Key Responsibilities
Learn CNC milling machine functions, controls, and operating procedures.
Assist with component loading, unloading, clamping, and fixture preparation.
Support cutting tool identification, preparation, and tool changes under supervision.
Learn to read engineering drawings and understand basic dimensions and tolerances.
Assist with machining operations using approved programs and work instructions.
Check component dimensions using measuring instruments after training.
Record production quantities, cycle times, and inspection results as instructed.
Report abnormal machine sounds, tool damage, defects, or alarms immediately.
Follow machine safety, PPE, 5S, FOD prevention, and component handling requirements.
Perform assigned daily machine care and housekeeping activities.





Required Skills
Basic understanding of machining processes and mechanical fundamentals.
Interest in CNC machines, cutting tools, and precision manufacturing.
Attention to detail, discipline, and willingness to learn.
Ability to follow instructions and work with the production team.
Willingness to work on the shopfloor and in assigned shifts.

Training & Safety Requirements
Operate machines only after training and authorization, under designated supervision.
Make program, tool offset, or setup changes only with supervisor approval.
Follow secure procedures for chip removal, cleaning, and machine stoppages.
