Role & responsibilities
Lead end-to-end file share migration projects, including assessment, discovery, planning, execution, and post-migration validation.
Analyze and optimize file share structures, permissions, security groups, and access controls.
Manage and govern Active Directory roles, NTFS permissions, and enterprise access management models.
Define migration strategies and best practices to ensure secure, compliant, and seamless data migrations.
Drive migrations to up-to-date platforms such as AWS FSx, SharePoint Online, and other cloud-based storage solutions.
Collaborate with business, security, infrastructure, and application teams to align migration activities with organizational objectives.
Identify and resolve complex migration, storage, and access-related issues.
Develop migration documentation, governance standards, and operational procedures.
