Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Chemist to support laboratory operations at our Gold Processing Plant. The role involves chemical analysis, process sample testing, QA/QC activities, laboratory documentation, and ensuring accurate analytical results to support plant operations and metallurgical performance.

Role & responsibilities:
Perform chemical analysis of plant, process, ore, tailings, water, and laboratory samples.
Conduct cyanide analysis, pH determination, titrations, and routine wet chemistry testing.
Ensure accuracy, reliability, and consistency of laboratory test results.
Maintain laboratory records, analytical reports, and testing documentation.
Follow and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality standards.
Assist in troubleshooting analytical issues and improving laboratory practices.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals and hazardous substances.




Maintain laboratory equipment and coordinate calibration activities.
Support QA/QC activities and laboratory quality systems.
Coordinate with metallurgical, processing, and operations teams for timely sample analysis.
Ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Preferred candidate profile:
Experience in Mining, Mineral Processing, Metallurgical, Cement, Metals, or Industrial Laboratories preferred.
Exposure to Gold Processing, Mineral Testing, or Assay Laboratory operations will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and laboratory documentation.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work at a site-based mining operation.
