M365 Migration Engineer
About the Role

We re looking for a hands-on Microsoft 365 Migration Engineer to support an enterprise migration project. You ll work with the project team to prepare migration waves, resolve technical issues, execute cutover activities, and
verify that users and services work as expected afterward.

Responsibilities
Plan and execute mailbox and data migration activities, including pilot users, migration waves, and cutover.
Configure and troubleshoot migration tooling, permissions, authentication, and connectivity.
Investigate failed jobs, document root causes, and coordinate retries or remediation.
Validate destination-tenant configuration, including mail flow and transport rules.
Maintain migration trackers, technical runbooks, and transparent records of changes and outcomes.
Raise blockers promptly, work directly with client and project stakeholders, and provide concise progress
updates.




Support post-migration validation and resolve issues identified by users or the project team.
Required Experience
Hands-on experience delivering Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations.
Solid knowledge of Exchange Online, mail flow, identity, permissions, and Microsoft Graph.
Experience with migration tools such as Quest and with PowerShell-based troubleshooting.
Proven ability to diagnose migration failures and manage cutovers in a live enterprise environment.
Explicit written communication and disciplined documentation.
Nice to Have
Experience with Microsoft 365 security and compliance configuration, including Microsoft Purview.
