Role & responsibilities

4+ years of skilled software quality assurance experience.

• 2+ years of hands-on automated test development in code (not record-and-playback tools).
Strong programming experience in JavaScript/TypeScript and/or Python (Java is a plus).
Hands-on Playwright experience, including page objects, fixtures, network interception, and trace-based debugging.
Experience with REST API testing and tooling (Playwright APIRequest, Postman, REST Assured, pytest, or equivalent).

• Strong understanding of CI/CD and experience running suites in a pipeline.

• Proficiency with Git and pull-request-based development workflows.
Working SQL skills - able to query a relational database to verify state and build test data.

• Robust debugging skills:



browser developer tools, network traces, application logs, and stack traces.

• Robust root cause analysis skills, including the ability to read unfamiliar application code.
Practical understanding of test strategy: what belongs in unit, integration, API, and end-toend layers, and why the pyramid matters for suite runtime.
Experience with a defect and work tracking system (Jira or equivalent).
Transparent written English - defect reports and test documentation are read by engineers in multiple time zones.
