Virtual Relationship Manager (Virtual RM)

Location: Chennai

Roles and Responsibilities

- Engage with recent and existing clients over phone, video calls, email and WhatsApp to understand their financial goals, risk appetite and investment horizon.
- Recommend suitable investment solutions (mutual funds, SIPs, goal-based portfolios and other products offered on the platform) based on client needs.
- Onboard new clients, guiding them through KYC, account opening and first investments.
- Convert leads into active investors and meet monthly targets for new SIPs, lumpsum investments and AUM growth.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of clients through regular follow-ups, portfolio reviews and rebalancing suggestions.
- Cross-sell and upsell relevant products and services to existing clients.
- Resolve client queries on transactions, account statements, redemptions and platform usage promptly.
- Educate clients on market trends, fund performance and the importance of disciplined, long-term investing.
- Retain clients by reducing SIP stoppages and redemptions through proactive communication.




- Keep accurate records of client interactions, leads and follow-ups in the CRM.
- Follow all regulatory, compliance and internal guidelines, including SEBI and AMFI norms.
- Coordinate with the operations, product and support teams to ensure smooth client servicing.

Requirements

- Graduate in any discipline (commerce, finance or management preferred).
- 1-4 years of experience in wealth management, mutual fund distribution, financial sales or inside sales
- Valid NISM Series V-A (Mutual Fund Distributors) certification, or willingness to obtain it within the stipulated time.
- Good knowledge of mutual funds, SIPs and basic personal finance.
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills in English and Hindi (regional languages are a plus).
- Comfortable with CRM tools, video calling platforms and working remotely.
- Self-motivated, target-driven and customer-focused.
