Key Job Responsibilities

1. Electrical Installation

- Install electrical wiring, cables, switches, sockets, and distribution boards.
- Install lighting systems, electrical panels, and circuit breakers.
- Connect electrical equipment and machinery according to drawings.

2. Maintenance and Repair

- Perform routine electrical maintenance and inspections.
- Identify and repair electrical faults and breakdowns.
- Replace damaged cables, switches, fuses, and other electrical components.

3. Troubleshooting

- Diagnose electrical problems using testing equipment.
- Check voltage, current, continuity, and insulation resistance.
- Identify short circuits, earth faults, and power supply issues.

4. Safety Compliance

- Follow electrical safety standards and procedures.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures before electrical maintenance.
- Ensure proper earthing and grounding.

5. Reading Technical Drawings

- Read and understand electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Follow electrical layouts and installation specifications.

6. Testing and Commissioning





- Test electrical installations and equipment.
- Verify proper functioning of electrical systems.
- Assist with electrical testing and commissioning activities.

7. Documentation and Reporting

- Maintain records of electrical maintenance and repairs.
- Report electrical faults and unsafe conditions.
- Prepare maintenance reports and material requirements.

8. Teamwork

- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians.
- Support installation and maintenance projects.
- Complete assigned tasks within the scheduled timeframe.

Skills and Competencies

- Electrical wiring and installation.

- Knowledge of electrical tools and testing instruments.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
