- Installation & Setup: Mount and position analog and IP cameras, run cabling (coaxial, ethernet/fiber), and set up power supplies. [1, 2, 3]
- System Configuration: Program Digital Video Recorders (DVRs), Network Video Recorders (NVRs), head-end panels, and IP/network settings for remote viewing. [1, 2, 3]
- Maintenance & Inspection: Conduct routine checks, clean camera lenses, adjust angles for optimal coverage, and update firmware/software. [1, 2]
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose signal dropouts, hardware failures, or wiring faults, and replace defective cameras, power bricks, or cables. [1]
- Testing & Handover: Perform end-to-end system tests and train clients or end-users on basic operations. [1, 2]
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of IP addresses, camera layouts, installation logs, and maintenance report
