About the Role

Raigad Hospital and Research Centre is looking for an experienced Freelance Healthcare Recruiter / HR Consultant to support the recruitment of doctors and clinical staff for the hospital.

The ideal candidate should have an established professional network and a strong, updated database of doctors and clinical professionals, particularly those based in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, and nearby areas.

The candidate will be responsible for sourcing suitable profiles, conducting initial screening, and coordinating interviews with the hospital's management team.

Key Responsibilities

- Source and recruit qualified doctors, medical specialists, resident doctors, nurses, and other clinical staff.
- Focus primarily on candidates based in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, and surrounding areas.
- Maintain and utilise an existing database of doctors and clinical professionals.
- Identify suitable candidates through professional networks, medical associations, recruitment portals, referrals, and other relevant channels.
- Contact prospective candidates to assess their interest, qualifications, experience, availability, and salary expectations.
- Verify relevant qualifications, specialisations, registrations, and professional experience as appropriate.




- Share shortlisted candidate profiles with the hospital's management and coordinate interviews.
- Follow up with candidates throughout the recruitment process, including interview scheduling, offer discussions, and joining coordination.
- Maintain an updated recruitment tracker with candidate details, communication status, interview progress, and expected joining dates.
- Coordinate with the hospital's HR team and management to understand staffing requirements and recruitment priorities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

- Prior experience in healthcare recruitment, hospital HR, medical staffing, or healthcare talent acquisition.
- A strong, existing database of doctors and clinical professionals in Mumbai and nearby locations.
- Established professional connections with doctors, medical colleges, hospitals, nursing institutions, and healthcare networks in the target region.
- Good understanding of medical designations, specialisations, clinical qualifications, and relevant professional registrations.
- Excellent communication, networking, follow-up, and candidate-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for maintaining candidate databases and recruitment trackers.

Preferred Candidate Profile





- Freelance healthcare recruiters with an existing database of doctors and clinical staff in Mumbai and surrounding areas.
- Former or current hospital HR professionals with relevant recruitment experience.
- Independent medical recruitment consultants experienced in doctor and clinical staff placements.
- Professionals with a proven track record of successfully filling clinical vacancies in hospitals.

Engagement and Compensation

- Flexible, hourly-based engagement.
- Work-from-home arrangement, subject to coordination requirements.

- Hourly compensation to be discussed based on experience and the strength of the candidate's existing healthcare network.
