Job Title: OT Technician / Scrub Technician

Department: Operation Theatre (OT)

Job Responsibilities

- Prepare the operation theatre before surgical procedures.

- Ensure the availability and proper functioning of OT equipment and instruments.

- Sterilize and arrange surgical instruments and maintain aseptic conditions.

- Assist surgeons and other OT staff during surgical procedures.

- Perform scrub duties, including surgical hand scrubbing, gowning, and gloving.

- Arrange and pass surgical instruments to the surgeon during procedures.

- Maintain instrument counts in coordination with the surgical team.

- Follow infection control, sterilization, and patient safety protocols.

- Assist in shifting and positioning patients safely.

- Maintain OT cleanliness, records, and documentation.

- Coordinate with nurses, surgeons,



and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

- Diploma or relevant qualification in OT Technology / Operation Theatre Techniques.

- 1–2 years of experience in an operation theatre.

- Knowledge of surgical instruments, sterilization, and infection control procedures.

- Ability to work in a team and handle emergency situations.

- Positive communication skills and a responsible attitude.

Preferred Candidate

Male candidates with 1–2 years of relevant OT experience who can perform both OT Technician and Scrub Technician duties.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
