Job Summary

The SAP Fiori/UI5 Support Consultant will provide L1/L2 support for SAP Fiori Launchpad and UI5 applications, covering application availability, usability, technical diagnosis and coordination with Basis, Security, Integration and ABAP teams.

- Triage and resolve incidents involving:
- - Fiori Launchpad access
- Application launch and navigation
- Tiles, catalogs, spaces and pages
- SAPUI5 application errors
- OData and Gateway service failures
- Browser and device compatibility
- Backend-service dependencies

- Analyze front-end and backend logs to isolate the source of failures.
- Coordinate authorization-related issues with SAP Security.
- Coordinate Gateway, service and system-level issues with Basis and Integration teams.
- Support standard Fiori configuration and approved minor corrections.
- Validate resolutions in non-production environments.
- Conduct browser, role and regression testing.
- Support application launches and hypercare activities.




- Prepare structured handovers for custom UI5 development, major redesign or recent Fiori application requirements.
- Maintain troubleshooting guides, known-error records and diagnostic instructions.
- Identify opportunities for self-service guidance, monitoring and recurrence reduction.

Skill Requirements

Required Skills and Experience

- Experience supporting SAP Fiori Launchpad and SAPUI5 applications.
- Experience with SAP Gateway and OData services.
- Understanding of Fiori catalogs, spaces, pages, tiles and role dependencies.
- Ability to diagnose front-end, service-layer and backend issues.
- Familiarity with MM, PP or EWM Fiori applications is desirable.
- Experience with SAP production support, testing and structured technical escalation.
