Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and diligent Machine Operator to manage and operate our single-stage Injection Stretch Blow Moulding (ISBM) machines, specifically the Nissei ASB 50MB and ASB 70DPW models. The candidate will oversee daily production, perform essential in-process quality inspections, monitor shift parameters, and maintain accurate production logs to ensure minimal downtime and high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities

- Machine Operation & Monitoring:
- Set up, operate, and continuously monitor ASB 50MB and ASB 70DPW machines during scheduled shifts.
- Adjust basic machine processing parameters (temperatures, injection pressure, blow pressure, cycle times) to maintain consistent container output.
- Troubleshoot routine molding defects such as flash, short shots, wall thickness variation, haziness, or deformation.
- Shift Data Recording & Reporting:
- Log hourly and end-of-shift production counts, cycle times, cycle efficiency, and scrap/rejection rates.
- Record raw material consumption (PET resin, masterbatch, additives) and machine running hours.
- Document any downtime, mold changes, equipment stoppages, or mechanical anomalies in the shift logbook.
- Quality Control & In-Process Inspection:
- Conduct regular physical checks on finished bottles/containers as per the Quality Assurance checklist.
- Perform inspections for bottle weight, wall thickness, neck dimensions, visual defects, and leak/drop testing where applicable.




- Stop production immediately and notify the Shift Supervisor or Quality Department if defects exceed acceptable tolerances.
- Preventive Maintenance & Housekeeping:
- Carry out basic daily machine maintenance, including checking oil levels, hydraulic lines, pneumatic pressures, and cooling systems.
- Clean molds, blow cavities, and preform injection zones to prevent contamination.
- Ensure the shop floor adheres to 5S standards, safety protocols, and proper PPE usage.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: Minimum 12th Pass (Higher Secondary Education); ITI / Diploma in Plastics Technology (CIPET) or Mechanical is a robust plus.
- Experience: 3 to 7 years of hands-on experience operating single-stage ISBM machines.
- Machine Expertise: Demonstrated operational familiarity with Nissei ASB 50MB and ASB 70DPW.
- Technical Skills:
- Solid understanding of PET material processing and mold handling.
- Ability to read basic measuring tools (vernier calipers, micrometers, digital weighing scales).
- Clear handwriting and basic numeracy for accurate shift log maintenance.
- Availability: Willingness to work in rotating shifts (day/night) and handle shift handover procedures effectively.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month

Education:

- Higher Secondary(12th Pass) (Preferred)

Experience:

- Plastics blow moulding: 3 years (Preferred)
