We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer with strong knowledge of 3D modelling, mechanical design, drafting, and manufacturing drawings. The candidate should have hands-on experience in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, sheet metal design, nesting, and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T;).

The candidate will be responsible for designing industrial machinery, developing 3D models, preparing manufacturing drawings, and coordinating with production and fabrication teams.
Key Responsibilities

- Create 3D models and mechanical assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Prepare detailed 2D manufacturing and fabrication drawings.
- Prepare and modify engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
- Perform sheet metal development and nesting using AutoCAD or relevant nesting software.
- Apply GD&T; principles and prepare drawings with proper dimensional and geometric tolerances.
- Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) and material specifications.
- Design machine components, shafts, frames, structures, hoppers, conveyors, and mechanical assemblies.
- Understand manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication, welding, and sheet metal operations.
- Coordinate with production, fabrication, and purchase departments.




- Review drawings and ensure accuracy, manufacturability, and compliance with design requirements.
- Modify existing designs based on customer requirements and engineering changes.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong working knowledge of SolidWorks – 3D Modelling & Assembly.
- Positive knowledge of AutoCAD – 2D Drafting.
- Hands-on experience in Nesting and Sheet Metal Development.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Knowledge of engineering drawings, fits, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to prepare production-ready drawings.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in industrial machinery and heavy equipment design.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems.
- Experience in conveyors, shredders, crushers, and material handling equipment.
- Knowledge of BOM preparation and engineering documentation.

Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in mechanical design and drafting.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
