1. JOB PURPOSE

To ensure that all finished products meet customer specifications, engineering drawings and defined quality standards before dispatch. Responsible for effective final inspection, product release, customer quality management and prevention of non-conforming products.

2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage and monitor final inspection activities to ensure product conformity before dispatch.
- Ensure compliance with customer drawings, specifications, Control Plans and inspection standards.
- Ensure effective implementation of IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and applicable quality procedures.
- Monitor customer PPM, internal rejection, rework and scrap, and drive continual improvement.
- Handle customer complaints, coordinate root cause analysis and ensure timely submission of 8D reports.
- Ensure effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence of defects.
- Maintain inspection records, product audit reports, quality documentation and traceability.
- Ensure proper calibration and utilisation of measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
- Lead and develop the final inspection team through training, performance monitoring and competency development.
- Coordinate with Production, Process Quality, Maintenance and Dispatch for resolution of quality issues.
- Conduct product audits and support customer, internal and certification audits.
- Ensure proper identification, segregation and control of non-conforming products and prevent defective product dispatch.

3. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)

- Customer PPM and customer rejection.
- Internal rejection and rework reduction.
- Zero-defect dispatch performance.

4. TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

- Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA and SPC.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T; and dimensional inspection.
- Knowledge of precision measuring instruments and inspection methodologies.
- Proficiency in 7 QC Tools, 8D, 5 Why Analysis and Root Cause Analysis.
- Knowledge of customer-specific requirements and quality documentation.

Overall Accountability: To ensure defect-free product dispatch, customer satisfaction and continual improvement in final product quality through effective inspection, monitoring and quality management systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
