The Showroom Accountant manages the backend financial ecosystem of the dealership. They ensure all commercial vehicle sales, spare parts stock, and servicing numbers align perfectly with company policies and tax regulations.

Dealership Invoicing & Billing: Generate and verify tax invoices for vehicle sales (commercial passenger/cargo variants), extended warranties, insurance add-ons, and after-sales service jobs.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance: Prepare, manage, and file routine GST and TDS documentations. Handle dealer-specific tax filings required for commercial vehicle commercial registrations.

Payment Processing: Accept booking amounts, down payments, and final settlements from customers via cash, check, credit/debit cards, and digital UPI apps.

Receipt Generation: Issue prompt, accurate, and system-generated receipts for down payments, registration fee payments, and mechanical repair charges.

Daily Cash Reconciliation: Balance the cash till at the beginning and end of every shift. Cross-verify cash on hand against system logs and immediately report discrepancies to the accountant/manager.

Petty Cash Management:



Maintain and distribute the daily showroom petty cash ledger for minor administrative expenditures.

Bank Deposits: Safely pack, log, and coordinate the physical drop-off of the showroom's daily cash and check collections into the dealership’s bank account.

Inventory & Spare Parts Auditing: Reconcile incoming inventory from the manufacturer (Piaggio Vehicles) with the sales register. Keep regular checks on spare parts and service bay inventory.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com / BBA Finance).

Software: High proficiency in accounting software like Tally Prime or specific Dealership Management Systems (DMS), along with advanced MS Excel skills.

Very positive knowldege in posting journal entries in Tally.

Experience: 1–3 years in automobile dealership accounting is highly preferred
