Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Assistant Production Engineer to support daily production activities, monitor manufacturing processes, and ensure the timely achievement of production targets. The candidate will assist in improving productivity, maintaining quality standards, reducing production losses, and ensuring smooth coordination between departments.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Assist in planning and executing daily production activities as per the production schedule.
- Monitor production processes and ensure achievement of daily production targets.
- Coordinate with production operators and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor machine performance and report breakdowns or technical issues to the maintenance team.
- Ensure products are manufactured according to quality standards and specifications.
- Coordinate with Quality, PPC, Maintenance and Stores departments.
- Prepare and maintain daily production reports and related documentation.
- Identify production problems and support corrective and preventive actions.




- Monitor rejection, rework, scrap and material wastage.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines and materials.
- Maintain workplace safety, discipline and housekeeping as per company standards.
- Support process improvement activities to increase productivity and efficiency.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of manufacturing and production processes.
- Basic knowledge of production planning and control.
- Understanding of quality standards and inspection procedures.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and production reporting.
- Ability to work in a team and meet production deadlines.

Eligibility Criteria

- Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical field.
- 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing industry.
- Experience in automobile or automotive component manufacturing will be preferred.
- Knowledge of production documentation and shop-floor operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
