Are you skilled in vendor management, negotiation and procurement?
We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Purchase Executive to strengthen our procurement operations in the food manufacturing industry.
Join our team and play a key role in ensuring the timely availability of quality raw materials, ingredients, packaging materials and essential supplies while maintaining cost efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Procurement: Identify, evaluate and purchase raw materials, ingredients, packaging materials and other operational requirements.
- Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and identify reliable new vendors.
- Price Negotiation: Negotiate competitive prices, payment terms and delivery schedules to optimize purchasing costs.
- Purchase Coordination: Coordinate with internal departments to understand material requirements and ensure timely procurement.
- Inventory Monitoring: Track stock levels, monitor material requirements and prevent stock shortages or excess inventory.
- Order Follow-up: Monitor purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain purchase records,
quotations, comparative statements, invoices and supplier details.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure purchased materials meet the company's quality standards and applicable food industry requirements.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Purchase / Procurement.
- Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG industries will be an added advantage.
- Strong negotiation, vendor management and communication skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management and purchase documentation.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Ability to coordinate effectively and make cost-conscious purchasing decisions.
