Key Responsibilities

- Site Supervision & Execution:
- Supervise day-to-day installation activities for steel and fire-rated doors, frames, and shutters.
- Verify site openings, wall dimensions, level, plumb, and squareness before frame positioning.
- Oversee frame-to-wall anchoring, grouting/sealing, door shutter hanging, and gap/clearance adjustments. [1, 2, 3]
- Technical Coordination & Drawing Interpretation:
- Read and interpret architectural layouts, shop drawings, and Issued-For-Construction (IFC) drawings.
- Coordinate with project managers, civil/main contractors, and interior/fit-out teams.
- Resolve site clashes or structural discrepancies between rough openings and door frame dimensions. [1, 2]
- Hardware & Fire-Rating Compliance:
- Supervise the installation of specialized door hardware (hinges, panic exit devices, door closers, magnetic holders, seals, and locksets).
- Ensure proper smoke sealing, positive pressure compliance,



and maintain required fire-rated gaps.
- Coordinate third-party or local fire authority inspections and sign-offs. [1, 2]
- Quality Control (QA/QC) & Safety:
- Conduct pre-installation, in-progress, and pre-handover quality checks.
- Ensure compliance with site Health & Safety (H&S;) protocols, including PPE usage and risk assessments (RAMS).
- Maintain punch-lists and rectify installation defects before client handover. [1, 2, 3, 4]
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Track daily/weekly site progress, material deliveries, and labor deployment.
- Maintain as-built records, delivery challans, inspection sign-off sheets, and fire-rating test certificates. [1, 2, 3]

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
