A Computer Faculty is responsible for teaching computer science and information technology to students, developing their digital skills, and creating an engaging learning workplace. The faculty member helps students understand computer fundamentals, software applications, programming concepts, and practical computer skills through theoretical and hands-on training.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Teach computer science and ICT concepts according to the school curriculum.
- Conduct practical sessions to improve students' computer skills.
- Teach MS Office, basic programming, internet usage, and digital literacy.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, presentations, and teaching materials.
- Conduct practical assessments, assignments, and periodic evaluations.
- Maintain computer lab equipment and ensure proper functioning.
- Guide students in computer-based projects, competitions, and activities.
- Maintain students' academic records and monitor their progress.
- Encourage logical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
- Follow school policies and actively participate in academic activities.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of computer fundamentals.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office and basic programming.
- Ability to handle smart boards and digital teaching tools.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching.
Qualification: B.Sc. Computer Science / BCA / B.E. Computer Science / MCA or equivalent qualification.
Objective: To develop students' digital literacy, computational thinking, technological awareness, and confidence in using computers effectively.
Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month
