Inventory Executive – Job Description

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Inventory Executive to manage day-to-day inventory and store activities. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, handling material inward and outward, coordinating with production and purchase teams, and ensuring proper storage of materials.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain daily records of Raw Materials (RM), Packaging Materials (PM), Work-in-Process (WIP) and Finished Goods (FG).
- Handle material receiving, checking, storage and issuing as per requirements.
- Verify received materials against Purchase Orders, invoices and delivery documents.
- Update inventory records in ERP/software and MS Excel.
- Maintain accurate inward and outward stock entries.
- Ensure proper FIFO/FEFO practices for materials and finished goods.
- Conduct regular physical stock counting and report stock differences.
- Monitor stock levels and inform the Inventory Manager about shortage, excess, damaged or near-expiry materials.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Quality, Accounts and Dispatch departments.
- Maintain proper batch-wise records and support material traceability.
- Prepare daily/weekly stock reports as required.
- Ensure proper labeling, identification and segregation of materials.




- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and proper storage conditions in the store.
- Follow company procedures related to GMP, GHP, HACCP and food safety.
- Support monthly stock verification and inventory reconciliation.
- Assist during internal, customer and external audits.
- Report any stock discrepancy, damage, leakage, expiry or shortage immediately.
- Perform other inventory/store-related duties assigned by the Inventory Manager.

Requirements

- Graduate/Diploma in Commerce, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Operations or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in inventory/store management; experience in Food/Bakery/FMCG/Manufacturing will be preferred.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and inventory/ERP software.
- Valuable numerical and record-keeping skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and stock records.
- Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO and material traceability will be an advantage.
