1. Job Summary

IACR Research Institute is looking for a skilled and experienced Dialysis Technology Trainer to provide industry-oriented training to healthcare students and graduates in dialysis procedures, renal care, haemodialysis equipment, patient monitoring and kidney disease management.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience in dialysis units, nephrology departments or renal care centres and the ability to deliver theoretical and hands-on training.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Deliver comprehensive training in Dialysis Technology.
- Teach renal anatomy, physiology and kidney functions.
- Explain acute and chronic kidney diseases.
- Train students in haemodialysis principles and procedures.
- Introduce peritoneal dialysis fundamentals.
- Explain dialysis machine operations and components.
- Train students in dialyzer preparation and handling.
- Teach vascular access care and monitoring.
- Explain water treatment systems used in dialysis units.
- Cover fluid balance and electrolyte management.
- Train students in dialysis patient assessment and monitoring.
- Explain dialysis complications and emergency management.
- Teach infection prevention and biomedical waste management.
- Conduct case-based discussions and practical demonstrations.
- Prepare training materials, presentations and assessments.
- Evaluate student performance and provide career guidance.

4. Educational Qualifications

- BSc Dialysis Technology.
- BSc Renal Dialysis Technology.
- MSc Dialysis Technology.
- MSc Renal Sciences or equivalent relevant qualification.
- MBBS with MD/DNB/DM Nephrology preferred for specialist clinical modules.
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications in Dialysis Technology will be an advantage.

5. Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of dialysis procedures and renal care.
- Practical experience with haemodialysis machines.
- Knowledge of dialysis equipment and water treatment systems.
- Understanding of vascular access management.
- Knowledge of dialysis complications and patient monitoring.
- Excellent teaching and presentation skills.
- Ability to conduct practical and simulation-based training.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.

6. Experience

- Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical or teaching experience preferred.
- Experience in hospital dialysis units or nephrology departments.
- Experience in healthcare education or technical training is an advantage.

7. Compensation
