About us
The Kids Era is a books and toys library for children, based in Mumbai. Families borrow curated books and toys, enjoy them, and swap for fresh ones, so kids get variety and homes stay clutter-free. We run online events, storytelling sessions and workshops, and we're growing our community one family at a time.

About the role
We're looking for a curious, creative marketing intern to help us reach more parents. You'll work directly with the founder on real campaigns, not busywork, and see your ideas go live.

Duration: 2 to 3 months
Commitment: 10 to 15 hours per week, flexible
Location: Remote, with occasional meetings in Mumbai/Thane
Type: Unpaid, learning-focused internship

What you'll do

- Create and schedule posts for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and X
- Draft captions, short articles and blog posts on parenting, reading and play
- Help promote our online events (storytime sessions, read-aloud clubs, workshops)
- Research trending topics, hashtags and competitors in the kids' space
- Support parent outreach through WhatsApp and community groups
- Collect and share parent testimonials and reviews
- Track basic metrics (reach, engagement, sign-ups) and share weekly insights





What we're looking for

- Currently studying, or recently graduated, in marketing, mass media, English, design or a related field
- Positive written English (Hindi or Marathi is a plus)
- Comfortable with social media and basic tools like Canva
- Interest in children, parenting, books or education
- Reliable, self-driven and happy to take feedback

Nice to have

- Experience running a personal or college social media page
- Basic video editing for Reels
- Parenting or education blogging experience
