Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Civil Quantity Surveyor / Estimation Engineer to handle quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, rate analysis, tender documentation and project cost monitoring for residential and commercial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for civil construction projects.
- Calculate quantities of concrete, steel, masonry, plastering, flooring, painting, waterproofing and other construction works.
- Study architectural, structural and other construction drawings to prepare accurate quantity take-offs.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates covering materials, labour, equipment and subcontractor expenses.
- Perform rate analysis for various civil construction activities.
- Prepare project budgets, tender estimates, quotations and cost comparison statements.
- Use AutoCAD drawings and Microsoft Excel for quantity calculations and estimation.
- Collect and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations to determine competitive rates.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, procurement and accounts teams for cost-related matters.
- Verify site measurements, contractor bills, subcontractor bills and running account (RA) bills.
- Monitor actual project costs against estimated budgets and identify cost variations.




- Prepare material requirement statements and assist the procurement team with quantity planning.
- Maintain estimation records, BOQs, rate analysis sheets and project cost reports.
- Identify discrepancies in drawings, specifications and quantities and coordinate for clarification.
- Support management in tender submissions, budget revisions and cost-control decisions.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Relevant experience in civil construction estimation and quantity surveying is preferred.

Technical Skills

- AutoCAD
- Microsoft Excel
- BOQ preparation and quantity take-off
- Rate analysis and cost estimation
- Reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings
- Knowledge of construction materials, specifications and measurement methods

Experience

Relevant experience in civil construction estimation and quantity surveying is preferred. Candidates with practical knowledge of residential construction projects will be given preference.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
