Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.

Job Responsibilities
- Operate Vertical Machining Centre (VMC) machines to manufacture components according to production requirements.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions and tolerances.
- Load and unload components and ensure proper clamping and workpiece positioning.
- Monitor machining operations and follow approved CNC programs.
- Perform milling, drilling, tapping, boring and other machining operations as required.
- Check component dimensions using Vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges and other measuring instruments.
- Conduct in-process inspections to maintain product quality.
- Monitor cutting tools and report tool wear, breakage or machining abnormalities.
- Inform supervisors about machine issues, dimensional deviations and production delays.
- Maintain production records and achieve daily production targets.
- Follow machine safety procedures and maintain workplace cleanliness.
- Coordinate with Quality and Production teams to minimise rejection and rework.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on VMC operating experience.
- Basic knowledge of CNC controls, preferably FANUC.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of precision measuring instruments.
- Understanding of cutting tools and machining processes.
- Basic knowledge of G-codes and M-codes is preferred.
- Willingness to work in shifts and follow production schedules.
Salary & Benefits
- Expected salary: ₹18,000–₹22,000 per month for 1–2 years of experience.
