Tomson Electronics is an electronic components trading company supplying [semiconductors, passives, connectors, etc.] to manufacturers and B2B customers across India. Our Coimbatore facility handles the inward, inspection and storage of thousands of components from leading global brands.
About the Role
You will be the first technical checkpoint for every component entering our facility. Your job is to make sure that what we receive is exactly what we ordered: genuine, correctly specified and handled safely. This role suits an electronics graduate who wants hands-on exposure to real components, brands and the supply chain behind the electronics industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments and verify them against purchase orders, invoices and packing lists
- Inspect components for correct part numbers, markings, package type and date codes
- Cross-check specifications against manufacturer datasheets
- Identify and report suspected counterfeit, damaged or mismatched parts
- Follow ESD-safe handling and moisture-sensitive (MSL) storage practices
- Label,
bin and record stock accurately in our ERP / inventory system
- Maintain inspection records and batch/lot traceability
- Coordinate with purchase and sales teams on discrepancies and supplier issues
What We're Looking For
- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in ECE, EEE or a related field (freshers welcome)
- Ability to read and understand component datasheets
- Familiarity with common components: ICs, resistors, capacitors, connectors, etc.
- Solid attention to detail and a disciplined approach to documentation
- Basic computer skills (Excel; ERP experience is a plus)
- Good communication in Tamil and English
