Job Summary

British Laureate School, Mohali, is looking for enthusiastic, dedicated, and student-focused Home Room Teachers to join its academic team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for teaching, strong classroom management skills, and the ability to create an engaging, supportive, and positive learning workplace for young learners.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate classroom lessons in accordance with the prescribed curriculum.

- Manage day-to-day classroom activities and maintain a positive, disciplined learning environment.

- Monitor students' academic progress, participation, and overall development.

- Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, and classroom activities.

- Encourage students' creativity, communication skills, critical thinking, and social development.

- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding students' progress and classroom performance.

- Conduct assessments, maintain student records, and prepare progress reports.

- Collaborate with fellow teachers and academic coordinators to ensure effective teaching practices.





- Participate in school activities, parent-teacher meetings, and academic events.

Eligibility & Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject.

- B.Ed. / NTT / D.El.Ed. qualification will be preferred, depending on the grade level.

- Prior teaching experience in a reputed school will be an added advantage.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong classroom management and student-handling abilities.

- Proficiency in lesson planning and basic computer applications.

- A positive attitude, patience, creativity, and a genuine interest in working with young learners.
