Job Description: Forest Inventory & Biomass Estimation Executive

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹17,000 per month, based on experience and performance.

Job Overview

We are looking for motivated and dedicated candidates with an academic background in Forestry, Botany, or Environmental Science to support forest assessment and field research activities. The selected candidates will be responsible for collecting field data, conducting tree surveys, estimating tree volume and biomass, and maintaining accurate forest inventory records.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct field visits for forest surveys and environmental assessment.
- Perform tree enumeration and record tree measurements.
- Estimate tree volume and biomass using appropriate field methods.
- Assist in forest inventory and data collection activities.
- Maintain accurate field records and prepare survey reports.
- Follow project guidelines and ensure the quality and accuracy of collected data.
- Travel to designated field locations as required by project assignments.

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must meet either of the following criteria:





- Option 1: M.Sc. in Forestry, Botany, or Environmental Science.
- Option 2: B.Sc. in Forestry, Botany, or Environmental Science, with at least 1 year of relevant work experience.

Required Skills

- Basic understanding of tree measurement and forest survey methods.
- Good observation, documentation, and data-recording skills.
- Willingness to travel and work in outdoor field conditions.
- Good communication skills and a responsible attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
