We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Sub-Editor to join our editorial team. The ideal candidate should have strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with experience in creating high-quality news articles for websites and magazines.

Key Responsibilities

- Write, edit, and proofread news stories, articles, and editorial content.
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, grammar, and consistency across all published content.
- Research news topics and verify facts using reliable sources.
- Create compelling headlines, introductions, and reader-friendly content.
- Adapt content for digital platforms and print magazines.
- Coordinate with journalists and the editorial team to meet publishing deadlines.
- Stay updated on current affairs, industry developments, and trending topics.
- Ensure all content meets editorial standards and publication guidelines.

Requirements

- 2–3 years of experience in news writing, article writing, and editing.




- Excellent English writing, grammar, and proofreading skills.
- Robust research, fact-checking, and editorial judgment.
- Experience in writing content for websites, online news portals, or magazines.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- A degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, or a related field will be an added advantage.

Salary

₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
