Job Overview

SML Finance Ltd is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Branch Manager – Gold Loan to manage branch operations, drive business growth, lead the branch team, and ensure excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of gold loan operations, business development, team management, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the gold loan branch.

* Achieve branch business targets for gold loan disbursements and customer acquisition.

* Lead, supervise, and motivate branch staff to achieve business objectives.

* Oversee gold appraisal, loan processing, documentation, and disbursement.

* Ensure compliance with company policies, RBI guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements.

* Monitor loan portfolio quality, overdue accounts, and recovery performance.

* Develop new business opportunities and maintain solid customer relationships.

* Ensure proper cash management, record maintenance, and branch security.





* Conduct regular operational checks and ensure adherence to internal audit procedures.

* Prepare and submit branch performance reports to senior management.

Requirements

* Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience in gold loan operations or financial services.

* Previous experience in branch management or a supervisory role is preferred.

* Strong understanding of gold loan products, gold appraisal procedures, and loan documentation.

* Proven ability to achieve business targets and manage a team effectively.

* Excellent communication, leadership, and customer relationship management skills.

* Knowledge of branch operations, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

* Ability to work in a target-driven workplace.
