Job Summary

The Medical Superintendent will be responsible for the overall administrative and clinical management of the hospital. This role involves maintaining regulatory compliance, supervising clinical teams, enhancing patient care standards, and driving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Clinical & Administrative Leadership: Oversee daily hospital operations, clinical services, and departmental functions to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
- Medical Staff Management: Recruit, supervise, mentor, and evaluate medical staff, doctors, and clinical department heads.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with medical regulations, hospital accreditation standards (such as NABH/local state guidelines), and ethical guidelines.
- Patient Care Excellence: Implement quality improvement initiatives, handle patient feedback/grievances effectively,



and maintain high satisfaction rates.
- Resource & Facilities Management: Collaborate with administrative teams to manage hospital infrastructure, medical equipment maintenance, and emergency response protocols.
- Policy Implementation: Formulate and enforce operational policies, clinical protocols, and safety measures across all hospital units.

Qualifications & Skills

- Education: MBBS degree (registered with Medical Council) is required. MD/MS or a Master’s degree in Hospital Administration (MHA/MBA in Healthcare) is highly preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of clinical and administrative leadership experience in a multi-specialty hospital setup.
