Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Molding Machine Maintenance Engineer to join our manufacturing facility in Wada, Maharashtra.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and ensuring smooth and uninterrupted production operations.

The candidate should have hands-on experience in injection molding machine maintenance, breakdown handling, preventive maintenance, and machine troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Breakdown & Preventive Maintenance

- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) checklists to ensure machine reliability.
- Attend to mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic breakdowns promptly to minimize production downtime.
- Identify root causes of recurring machine failures and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, and preventive maintenance schedules.

2. Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems

- Diagnose and repair hydraulic pumps, proportional valves, directional control valves, and pressure/flow control systems.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic oil leakage, pressure fluctuations, and hydraulic circuit issues.
- Maintain and repair pneumatic cylinders, solenoid valves, and pneumatic control systems.

3. Electrical & Control Systems

- Troubleshoot electrical panels, AC/DC drives, servo motors, and servo pumps.
- Diagnose and repair relay logic circuits, PLCs, temperature controllers, and HMI/machine controllers.
- Identify and resolve electrical faults, sensor failures, wiring issues, and control system malfunctions.
- Ensure proper functioning of machine electrical and automation systems.

4. Auxiliary Equipment Maintenance





- Maintain and service auxiliary equipment, including:
- Water chillers
- Material dryers and auto-loaders
- Hot runner controllers
- Color dosers
- Pick-and-place robots
- Ensure all peripheral equipment operates efficiently and supports uninterrupted production.

5. Machine Calibration & Alignment

- Check and adjust platen parallelism and tie-bar elongation.
- Verify clamping force settings and injection pressure parameters.
- Ensure proper machine alignment and calibration for consistent product quality.
- Monitor machine performance and identify potential maintenance requirements.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Relevant experience in injection molding machine maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
- Knowledge of PLCs, servo systems, drives, and machine controllers will be an advantage.

Preferred Experience

Experience with injection molding machines, servo-driven machines, hydraulic systems, and plastic manufacturing processes will be highly preferred.
