Job Summary

LA Excellence Academy is looking for a confident and student-focused Academic Counsellor to guide students and parents regarding academic programs, competitive exam preparation, and admission opportunities. The candidate should have strong communication and convincing skills, along with the ability to convert enquiries into admissions.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding available courses, academic programs, and career opportunities.
- Explain course structures, fee details, admission procedures, and academic benefits.
- Handle walk-in enquiries, telephone enquiries, and online leads.
- Follow up with prospective students and parents to convert enquiries into admissions.
- Understand students' academic goals and recommend suitable courses.
- Maintain student enquiry databases, counselling records, and admission reports.
- Coordinate with the telecalling, marketing, and academic teams.
- Assist in admission campaigns, student engagement activities, and promotional events.
- Achieve monthly admission targets and maintain professional relationships with students and parents.

Required Qualifications and Skills





- Minimum qualification: Any Degree.
- Previous experience in academic counselling, educational sales, admissions, or student guidance is preferred.
- Freshers with excellent communication and convincing skills may also apply.
- Fluency in Telugu and valuable communication skills in English are preferred.
- Hindi proficiency will be an added advantage.
- Good interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with MS Excel or Google Sheets.
- Ability to manage multiple enquiries, conduct follow-ups, and work towards targets.
