A Hospital Sweeper In-Charge is responsible for supervising housekeeping staff and ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation throughout the hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and assign daily cleaning duties to sweepers and housekeeping staff.
Ensure cleanliness of patient rooms, wards, corridors, OPD, ICU, toilets, and other hospital areas.
Monitor the proper disposal of biomedical waste according to hospital guidelines.
Ensure housekeeping staff use appropriate cleaning materials and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Check the availability of cleaning supplies, disinfectants, and other housekeeping materials.
Conduct regular inspections to maintain hospital hygiene standards.
Maintain attendance records and staff duty schedules.
Report maintenance issues and hygiene-related complaints to the housekeeping supervisor or hospital administration.
Train staff on cleaning procedures, infection prevention, and safety practices.
Ensure cleaning work is completed on time and maintain daily housekeeping reports.
