Job Overview

We're looking for an experienced Indian Chef to manage the Indian cuisine section. The candidate will be responsible for preparing authentic gravies, curries, rice dishes, lentils, and traditional Indian main courses while maintaining food quality, taste, presentation, and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare base gravies, curries, lentils, rice dishes, and regional Indian cuisine according to standard recipes.
- Maintain consistent taste, food quality, portion sizes, and presentation.
- Handle daily food preparation, including chopping vegetables, grinding spices, and portioning ingredients.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and stock rotation of raw and cooked ingredients using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
- Maintain cleanliness and follow food safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
- Manage high-volume orders efficiently during peak restaurant hours.




- Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of experience in Indian cuisine, including North Indian, South Indian, or regional Indian dishes.
- Solid knowledge of Indian spices, cooking techniques, and gravy preparation.
- Ability to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
- Good understanding of kitchen hygiene, food safety, and ingredient management.
- Immediate joiners preferred.

Job Details and Benefits

- Monthly Off: 4 days per month, allocated on a rotational or shift basis.
- Meals Provided: 3 duty meals daily — breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- Shift Timings: Rotational shifts based on restaurant operating hours.
- Joining: Immediate joining preferred.
