CNG Station Manager (Operations), Phagwara

Location: Phagwara, Punjab (on-site)
Job type: Full-time, permanent
Salary: ₹10,000 to ₹15,000 per month, based on experience, with regular increments linked to performance and sales growth

About the job

We are looking for a responsible, trustworthy Station Manager to run the day-to-day operations of our CNG station in Phagwara. You will be the main person on the ground, looking after staff, customers, equipment and daily sales. If you perform well and help grow the business, your salary and responsibilities will grow with it.

Key responsibilities

- Manage all daily operations of the CNG station, from opening to closing
- Supervise dispensing staff and make sure they are present, on time and doing their duties properly
- Arrange attendants or temporary staff when someone is absent
- Keep the station, dispensers and surroundings clean and in good working condition
- Watch over routine maintenance and report or arrange repairs for any equipment issue
- Follow all safety rules and make sure staff do the same
- Handle customers politely, resolve complaints and build regular customers
- Keep daily records of sales, cash, gas stock and shift reports,



and hand over cash accurately
- Coordinate with suppliers and service technicians
- Suggest and carry out ideas to increase footfall and sales

Requirements

- Resident of Phagwara or nearby areas (strongly preferred)
- Honest, reliable and loyal, with a long-term mindset
- Good communication skills in Punjabi and Hindi (basic English is a plus)
- Ability to manage and motivate a small team
- Basic record-keeping, cash handling and mobile phone skills
- Willingness to do hands-on, on-site work
- Own two-wheeler preferred
- Minimum 12th pass; prior experience at a petrol pump, CNG station or similar retail or service work is an advantage but not mandatory
