We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Veterinary Pathologist to lead and manage our diagnostic laboratory operations, including Real-Time PCR (RT-PCR) and comprehensive veterinary diagnostic services.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee and manage day-to-day veterinary diagnostic laboratory operations.

* Perform, supervise, and interpret diagnostic tests, including RT-PCR and other molecular diagnostic investigations.

* Supervise routine clinical pathology, haematology, biochemistry, cytology, and other available diagnostic services.

* Ensure accuracy, quality control, timely reporting, and reliable test results.

* Manage laboratory staff, assign duties, monitor performance, and maintain discipline.

* Plan, order, and maintain adequate stocks of test kits, reagents, consumables, and other laboratory supplies.

* Monitor inventory, expiry dates, equipment maintenance, and laboratory records.

* Establish and implement SOPs, biosafety protocols,



and quality assurance procedures.

* Coordinate with veterinarians and referral hospitals to provide timely and accurate diagnostic support.

* Ensure efficient laboratory operations and continuous improvement in diagnostic services.

Eligibility & Experience

* BVSc & AH with a relevant postgraduate qualification in Veterinary Pathology preferred/required as per the role.

* Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in veterinary diagnostics and laboratory operations.

* Practical knowledge of RT-PCR, laboratory testing procedures, quality control, and diagnostic reporting.

* Experience in staff supervision, inventory management, and procurement of laboratory supplies.

* Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
