Job Summary:

The Quality Control Engineer will be responsible for meeting quality standards of bought out items and parts manufactured in-house to meet the quality standards of the end product. His/ her role involves inspecting, testing, and monitoring production processes and materials, identifying defects or deviations, and implementing corrective actions to maintain high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect incoming raw materials, components and machined parts as per technical specifications.
- Perform in-process and final inspection of vacuum pump components and assemblies.
- Check dimensions, tolerances and surface finish using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Dial Gauge and other measuring instruments.
- Inspect critical components such as Shaft, Rotor, Impeller, Casing, Bearing and Mechanical Seals.
- Verify products against engineering drawings and quality standards.
- Conduct inspection of pump assembly, alignment, clearance and performance parameters.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records and documentation.
- Identify defects, deviations and initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Coordinate with Production, Assembly and Design teams to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with quality procedures and maintain inspection standards.

Candidate Requirements





- Qualification: Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 2–5 years in Quality Control / Quality Assurance in a manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T;, measurement instruments and inspection techniques.
- Experience in pumps, rotating equipment or industrial machinery manufacturing will be preferred.
- Positive analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
