Job Description – Senior Executive – Purchase & Stores

Experience : 4–8 Years

Reporting To: Manager – Purchase & Stores / Supply Chain

- Manage procurement of raw materials, components, packing materials, consumables, and engineering spares.

- Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, release Purchase Orders, and follow up with approved suppliers.

- Ensure timely availability of materials as per production plan/requirements.

- Manage material receipt, inspection coordination, storage, issue, and stock records.

- Ensure proper identification, segregation, FIFO/FEFO, traceability, and status control of materials.

- Conduct monthly stock verification and reconciliation with books.

- Monitor minimum/maximum stock levels, slow-moving and obsolete materials.

- Coordinate with QA/QC for vendor qualification, incoming material inspection, release/rejection, and quality issues.

- Support audits, deviations, CAPA, change controls, and other quality-system activities.

- Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, and purchase costs.

- Prepare purchase, inventory, and supplier performance reports.





- Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, Engineering, Finance, and Planning teams.

- ISO Quality Management System compliance.

- Identifying cost-effective suppliers for key Raw-Materials and Packaging Materials to enrol them as key suppliers.

- Active participation and support to reduce the cost of procurement for the organization.

- Identifying and engaging cost-effective transporters for incoming materials and outgoing finished goods which include courier companies also.

Required Qualification & Skills

- Graduate; qualification in Materials Management / Supply Chain / Procurement preferred.

- 4–8 years of experience in pharma, medical devices, or other regulated manufacturing.

- Valuable knowledge of GMP/GDP, warehouse practices, inventory control, and documentation.

- Good understanding of cleanroom, material handling and traceability.

- Sound knowledge in soft-skills including MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point and analytical skills

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
