Position: ECHO TMT Technician

Department: Cardiology

Location: Main Road, opposite Bhima Jewellers, Thana, Kannur, Kerala 670002

Reports To: Cardiologist / HOD – Cardiology

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible ECHO TMT Technician to perform echocardiography and Treadmill Test (TMT) procedures, assist cardiologists, and ensure accurate diagnostic recordings while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform echocardiography (ECHO) procedures as prescribed by the cardiologist.

* Conduct Treadmill Test (TMT) procedures according to clinical protocols.

* Prepare patients and explain the procedures before testing.

* Monitor ECG, heart rate, blood pressure, and patient condition during tests.

* Assist cardiologists in diagnostic procedures and maintain accurate patient records.

* Ensure proper functioning, cleanliness, and maintenance of diagnostic equipment.

* Follow infection control protocols and patient safety guidelines.

* Coordinate with doctors, nurses,



and other healthcare staff.

* Identify and promptly report any abnormal patient responses during testing.

Educational Qualification

* Diploma or Degree in Cardiac Care Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or an equivalent relevant qualification.

* Relevant ECHO and TMT training or certification is preferred.

Required Skills

* Knowledge of echocardiography and TMT procedures.

* Basic understanding of ECG and cardiac monitoring.

* Valuable communication and patient-handling skills.

* Attention to detail and ability to work in a clinical environment.

* Teamwork, time management, and professional conduct.

Experience

* Freshers with relevant qualifications and practical training may apply.

* Previous experience in a hospital or cardiology department is an advantage.
