Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Mastercam Designer / CNC Programmer with strong knowledge of CNC machining, VMC programming, toolpath generation, and machining process optimization. The candidate should be capable of developing accurate CNC programs and supporting production activities to achieve quality and productivity targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop CNC machining programs using Mastercam software.
- Generate 2D and 3D toolpaths for VMC and CNC machining operations.
- Interpret engineering drawings, 3D models, and customer specifications.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, machining strategies, and cutting parameters.
- Perform toolpath simulation, verification, and collision checking.
- Generate CNC programs using suitable post-processors.
- Support machine setting, first-piece trials, and production validation.
- Optimize machining cycle time, tool life, and material utilization.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and NPD departments.
- Maintain CNC programs,



revision records, and technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot machining and programming-related issues.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Mastercam CAD/CAM software.
- Good understanding of CNC / VMC machining processes.
- Knowledge of G-code, M-code, and CNC programming.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, fixtures, work offsets, and tool offsets.
- Experience in 2D / 3D toolpath generation and simulation.
- Knowledge of machining parameters and process optimization.
- Good problem-solving and technical communication skills.

Educational Qualification

Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical qualification.

Experience

3–8 years of relevant experience in Mastercam programming and CNC / VMC machining.

Salary

₹25,000 – ₹60,000 per month, based on experience and technical competency.

Work Location

Kalapatti, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
