Job Purpose:The Senior DataEngineer will act as a technical lead for TD SYNNEX's data-driveninitiatives across the organization. This individual will beresponsible for owning the data model across our analyticssolutions and data warehouse. As a leader, the senior data engineermust be able to provide technical guidance to other dataengineers.The position is also responsible forcollaborating with key stakeholders on current and future needs fordata infrastructure that will ensure a scalable, reliable, andsecure data footprint. This person should be energized by theopportunity to work with large data sets and have expertise in thecreation and management of datasets.Additionally, this person should be anexpert in implementing and operating data flow solutions from dataingestion through data consumption. The Data Engineer willidentify, gather and ensure reliable data connections fromdisparate datasets (Enterprise systems, home-grown databases, andthird party sources) to support our data analysts and datascientists as they strive to fulfill key business initiatives. Theymust be self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs ofmultiple teams, systems and products. An individual who isexperienced in enabling data science teams and working in publiccloud environments is highly desired.A typicalday is rapid-paced, and dynamic and it is necessary to be able toswitch gears at a moment's notice.
